About Me

Hello....Hey....Hi.....

My name is Tanya. Unfortunatley I am already in my early 30s not sure how I got here so fast, time flies by when youre having fun!!!! I have a rather hansom 7 year old son who is my world, no doubt about that he's funny, awesome and super intelligent.

For the past 5 years I have been studying, I completed a 2 year access course, was definitely having too much fun in my early teens to think about the future..... hence becoming a mature student. Then for the last 3 years I have been studying a BA in Social Work and became a super geek, I will be graduating in the very near future with a 2:1 classification. Whilst studying I worked part-time it has been a struggle and very stressful at times but I survived.

In November 2014 the 6th to be exact I reverted to Islam, this was a very personal choice and my faith plays a massive part in my life. Been a Muslim is not just following a religion is a way of life and a very different way of life to the one I was living. I am grateful for everyday of my life and appreciate the blessings I have in life. Admittedly it can be a struggle a lonely one at that but inshallah it is all part of my test.

I'm currently waiting to start my first post as a Social Worker in Adult Care (me a professional sounds bizarre)  a new journey and chapter in my life. An advantage is that for the first time ever I have the summer holidays off with my boy, no passing him round from pillar to post.....maybe should not get too excited it is the first time ever.....a full 6 WEEKS!!!!! You may hear cries for help in the very near future.

So I decided to start a blog, I have been toying with the idea for some time and decided it is now or never whilst I have a little extra time. It is literally 24hrs since I started so I am sure I will be making school boy errors along the way.

It is all about me and the boy, well mainly me my Loves my Hates and a bit of everything in between.
I love to read, bake, run, play, laugh and love.

I'm such a girly girl at heart!!!!!
